We’re just a week away from the inaugural Provincetown Rocks Festival, descending on Commercial Street in P-Town from July 22nd – 26th! This promises to be the premier Boston music event of the Summer, with some of the best bands our city has to offer ready to rip up the town for four straight nights of musical madness! Underground Control is bringing you bands, DJs, Burlesque shows, and so much more… its going to be a 4 day party, and you’re insane if you miss it. No question. This is going to be a musical riot across multiple venues, all within walking/stumbling distance of each other. We’ve got schedules for each venue in the form of incredible flyers created by the extremely talented Joey Mars – check em out! These are the main stages for music, but there are even more events going on at venues all over town! Start planning now, and pick up tickets in advance, as they’re going incredibly quick and you don’t want to be left hanging for this incredible event!

Seriously? The Luxury? The Have Nots? The Lights Out? The New Alibis? Sidewalk Driver? Jason Bennett & The Resistance? Hallelujiah the Hills? Aloud? Varsity Drag? Midatlantic? The Swaggering Growlers? These are some of my favorite bands in this city, and they’re all going to be playing the same event? And those aren’t even necessarily some of the biggest or most well-known names that are going to be playing this festival – there’s no way in hell I’m going to miss this!!

Tickets can be purchased online HERE – the ticket sales site also has a great side-by-side schedule to help you plan out exactly which venue you want to run to at which time to catch your favorite band!

If you don’t want to drive down to P-Town, there’s links to some ferry information to help plan your trip below.

Oh yeah, and I know we usually give you links to all the bands we talk about in an article, but did you see how many are going to be playing this? Not gonna happen – google that shit. Feel free to contact me if you can’t find any info about a band and I’ll track something down for you.

Holy smokes that’s alotta tags! This definitely sounds like an epic event. I only wish my employer understood my addiction of good music so I could roll around for 4 days of bliss. (I can stop any time I want, I swear!) =)
