We are pleased to welcome you to PlaygroundBoston.com. Playground Boston was conceived by Noah, a local musician, and Bryan, an independent artist manager and promoter, in February of 2009. Our aim was to provide a resource for musicians and music fans alike, that would serve to showcase the work of Boston bands, get the word out about all the amazing acts coming to town, and keep everyone informed on what’s going on in the local and national music scene.

After enlisting the help of an incredible design team – Marc Lassoff and Annette Arabasz, two extraordinary talents and cool mother f*ckers to boot – the Playground Boston team worked tirelessly through the spring, holding rigorous strategic planning and creative work sessions at our favorite Allston bar Deep Ellum. Now, three months and countless beers later, we have brought our vision to life….

PGB is proud to offer you the most comprehensive Boston music calendar assembled anywhere on the internet (currently under construction – its A LOT of work), music reviews of some of the best live shows and albums from independent local artists and national acts playing in Boston, interviews, photos, videos, streaming mp3s and news about Boston and the music scene we all love.
